APPRAISALS
Goldsmith Jewelers has an appraiser on staff who holds the title of Certified Gemologist from the American Gem Society (AGS) and Graduated Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). He can provide you with an Insurance Replacement Cost Report. An Insurance Replacement Cost Report provides detailed information which will assure a fair replacement of equal quality and value if a claim is ever needed to be made.
We ask that you make an appointment so we can set time aside to properly evaluate your piece of jewelry while you wait. Most appraisals are done for the purpose of obtaining insurance coverage in case your item is lost, stolen or damaged. No gemstone, including a diamond, can be guaranteed not to break, chip, scratch or fracture, so we recommend you use a jewelry replacement cost report to have your jewelry covered through an insurance agency.
If your jewelry has not been appraised in the past 5 years, it is recommended to have your jewelry assessed to see if it is valued properly.
CUSTOM JEWELRY DESIGN
At Goldsmith Jewelers you work directly with one of our Jewelers. If you have a design in mind or have seen something you would like to create, our jewelers can help you design that special piece. We specialize in hand made jewelry and perform all the work right here in our store. Come in and see what we can do for you.
ENGRAVING
Want a personal touch added to your jewelry? Engraving is a service provided at our store. In either script or block, give your piece that personalized touch. Clocks to commemorate an anniversary or retirement etc. are also items that can be engraved.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift Certificates are always available in any denomination, and are a terrific option for those unsure what to purchase

Unfortunately jewelry can become lost, stolen or damaged. We can help you through this unfortunate time. Goldsmith Jewelers works directly with customers and their insurance companies to make sure that any loss of jewelry is handled quickly and professionally. JEWELRY REMOUNTING
Looking to update your wedding set? Did you inherit a piece of jewelry that is not your style or your preferred metal color? Do you have a loose diamond or gemstone you would like to wear? Whatever the situation, your old jewelry can be used to make a new piece of jewelry for you! Your loose stone can become a beautiful piece of jewelry! Stop in and consult with on of our Jewelers for an estimate to get your jewelry updated so you can enjoy wearing it once again.
JEWELRY REPAIR
All jewelry repairs are done on the premises by our Goldsmiths. Complimentary cleaning and examination of your jewelry can be done while you wait. Repairs such as, ring sizing, prong work, chain or bracelet repairs including new clasps, stone replacement, diamond setting and pearl restringing are all done on site. We can service almost any item of fine jewelry in our shop.
PEARL AND BEAD RESTRINGING
We recommend you have your pearls cleaned and restrung every few years. We advise you to put your pearls on after applying any hairspray, cosmetics or perfume. These beauty aids will eat away at the nacre of the pearl. Pearl and Bead Restringing is done on site and completed within one week.
WATCH REPAIR
We offer battery replacements, band replacements, and band adjustments for most watches, which can be completed while you wait on site. For watches that may require special attention, we have a Certified Master Watchmaker that can service most any watch, including Rolex, Tag Heuer, Omega, Raymond Weil, Movado, and many other brands of watches.
